Cobham Antenna Systems, Microwave Antennas design and manufacture high specification antennas - directional, sector,ultra wideband and omni - within the 100MHz to 40GHz frequency range. These antennas are used worldwide within commercial, defense, satellite and security communication systems.
They are very responsive to special customer designs and can turn prototypes rapidly.
Applications include:
WLAN, WiFi, WiMAX, RFID, Link16, Tactical Communications, Radar, TETRA, PMR, Telemetry, Security, Surveillance, Marine, Outside and Video Broadcast and Cellular.
Antennas are installed in airports, railway stations, weather buoys, race cars, road and rail tunnels (such as Channel Tunnel Rail Link), police helicopters, UAVs, broadcast equipment and satellite ground stations. They can be integrated into systems or designed to fit a particular application such as race car wing mirrors. All antennas are tested to ensure specification conformance. Antenna design projects are undertaken.
Cobham Antenna Systems, Microwave Antennas, is based in one location in Cheveley, near Newmarket, UK, where all manufacturing, testing, future technologies and development programmes are carried out.
